Out of place is a dual exhibition by Dede and Nitzan Mintz, two individual artists that work separately both indoors and in the public space for the past eight years and collaborate occasionally during the past three years.
In their current installation the artists combine two different visual expressions into one fragmented piece. Dede paints animals made of pieces of wood inspired by ruins and demolition sites. The animals are in a constant escape, running from place to place, looking for safety. The poem, 'Anchor', written by Nitzan is about being unable to stay commit to a relationship and the act of running away from safe places.
